cleanSPARK Spark Arrestor Boxes

Much of our work at Filter Designs operates on processes such as aluminium and glass furnaces, pyrolysis plants and waste-to-energy systems. High temperatures of up to 1200°c mixed with impurities in the process and/or process variables can lead to sparks exiting the process into the gas treatment plant. Typically, cyclones are used pre-filter when a […]

cleanNOx SNCR urea skids

Our in-house designed cleanNOx SNCR (selective non catalytic reduction) systems / urea skids are designed to reduce the NO and NO2 in the gas stream to meet the requirements of the Industrial Emissions Directive (formerly the Waste Incineration Directive), and BREF (the EU Best Available Techniques reference documents, or “BREFs”). BREFs represent the outcome of […]

cleanDOSE bulk bag/sorbent dispensers

Our cleanDOSE sorbent dispensing systems are based on dosing reagents using bulk bags.  They all have feeders like the cleanPAC systems, but are larger to accommodate a bulk bag. We have three types: CleanDOSE Base – here the bulk bag is lifted by forklift truck onto a membrane.  The bulk bag bottom spout is opened […]

Under our cleanPULSE brand, we offer 3 different filter types, all of which take out harmful particles from the environment. We have: cleanPULSE bag filters cleanPULSE cartridge filters cleanPULSE ceramic […]

cleanPAC activated carbon dosing

PAC Dosing is the process of introducing an amount of powdered activated carbon (PAC) to reduce the heavy metals, dioxins, and furans in the gas stream that sodium bicarbonate or lime cannot remove. By accurately controlling the ‘dose rate’ of activated carbon you can: Ensure there is enough PAC to provide effective treatment Avoid unnecessary […]

Our recent Projects

An empty warehouse is always a welcome place to start a project.  This is because we have a blank canvas with which to design an ideal layout for a flue gas treatment plant.  Once installed, our system cleans the gases from a waste boiler and waste infeed plant and will allow the end user to stop transporting waste around the country and manage it locally, save on transport costs and produce some electricity too.
