Dust extraction is a solution to nuisance dust generated by various industries, typically conveyors and processing equipment on wood and minerals manufacturing sites. However, at any point where dust is created where people can inhale it, there is a need to remove the dust from that environment. This is where a dust control system can help.
Dust is dangerous in any workplace, if exposed to excessive amounts of it for long periods of time it is not just employees that will suffer but also equipment. This is where dust control systems come in, not only do they remove the dust from the work environment but they continue to keep it at a safe level, allowing you to feel happy in the knowledge that all employees are safe and all equipment will run smoothly.
As well as helping to protect your employees and enabling the optimum running of your equipment, this extraction system also helps reduce your fugitive emissions, therefore helping you to meet both environmental and health and safety requirements.

We were contracted to provide 2 small Ceramic filters suitable for a small volume but with a design maximum temperature of 600°C. In addition the filters will be handling a syngas which cannot be mixed with oxygen so an alternative to compressed air would need to be used for the ‘Cleanpulse’ cleaning of the 25 Ceramic element in each of these CPC78 filters. In addition dosing of small amounts of a re-agent is required so the client also opted for a ‘Cleandose’ 25kg bag skid. Find out more about Project CAD below.
