Filter Designs win a major glass furnace contract

We’re pleased to report that we’ve been busy through lockdown, supporting existing customers, and talking to potential new ones.

And our hard work has paid off, with us successfully winning a contract with Electric Glass Fiber UK, a member of Nippon Electric Glass group, at one of their glass furnace plants in the north-west of England.

It’s a full turnkey FGT plant, and work will include building, civils, controls, compressors, CEMS, and so on.

Filter Designs worked closely with the project engineers to ensure the solution exactly met their requirements. Work will start shortly, with completion planned for the end of 2020.

Our team will be observing strict Covid-19 protocols around social distancing and hygiene throughout the project. The health and wellbeing of our staff and our customers is of utmost importance to us.
