Filter Designs was formed as a Limited company in 2001 by the present Managing Director, Roger Callis.

With over 35 years experience in the industry including pioneering Ceramic Filter Technologies, a position as Technical Director for Lodge Sturtevant and an apprecticeship at DCE, Roger is well placed to serve the dust control industry.

Increased business allowed a planned move to new premises which can now comfortably house more staff. As part of this continued expansion plan, Filter Designs is continually recruiting new people to add value to our services.

Filter Designs are involved in numerous projects; large and small, in the UK and internationally. FDL also provides spares, engineering consultancy, dust control consultancy and COSHH servicing and repairs through sister company dustbits.

dustbits.com was set up in response to numerous client requests for spares, COSHH servicing and web-enquiries.

Taking the advantage of the wide reach of the internet, dustbits is now a business in its own right.

Using economies of scale, this allows dustbits to offer competitive prices to major dust control spares users in the industry.
